If you are going to be late for your exam you should contact the Examinations and Assessment Office immediately on 01 708 3820 or by email ([email protected]) and they can advise on the next steps.
Exams will take place as per the published examination timetable and we cannot make any changes to this.
If there are exceptional reasons that mean you cannot attend your scheduled exam you are advised to contact the Examinations and Assessment Office ([email protected]) to arrange an appointment to discuss.
If you are sick on the day of your exam and cannot sit the exam you should make contact with the academic department administration office to let them know that you did not attend the exam and they can advise if there is any further information they need.
There is no need for you to notify the Examinations and Assessment Office.
All exams scheduled within the centrally timetabled exam period will have a duration of either 60, 90, 120 or 180 minutes. Durations will be clearly indicated on the timetable.

Yes. If you were approved for reasonable accommodations by the Disability Office for examinations you will still be entitled to these for remote assessment.
However, the move to remote assessment may have changed your needs, or the examination accommodations previously approved may not be as relevant now that assessments are online.

Internal Transfer options are available to continuing undergraduate students from Maynooth University (and St. Patrick’s Pontifical University), who wish to transfer to another programme in Year 2 or beyond in Maynooth University.
