Arqus students launch Intercultural Dialogue event at Maynooth University

Friday, October 4, 2024 - 13:30

Are you passionate about culture and interested in connecting with fellow students? If you're studying at Maynooth University this winter semester, we invite you to join us as a collaborator for the Intercultural Dialogue Circle! It's a perfect space to share your culture, learn from others, and celebrate diversity in a relaxed and fun way. Collaborators will play an essential role in organising this cultural event supported by Arqus Alliance. If you're not familiar with Arqus just yet, it’s a European University Alliance that connects Maynooth with eight other universities all across Europe! This special event will be co-organised by students from three universities as part of the Arqus European University Alliance: the University of Wroclaw, Maynooth University, and the University of Padova.

What’s the idea?

Intercultural Dialogue Circle is a space to share your culture, learn from others, and celebrate diversity in a relaxed and fun way. Here are some fun ideas for what you could share:

  • National Identity: Share traditional songs, fascinating stories, or unique aspects of your country’s history.
  • Language: Teach a few simple phrases from your native language.
  • Arts and Crafts: Display traditional art or crafts from your culture.
  • Performances: Show off your cultural music or dance skills (we love performances!).

To become an event collaborator, please fill out this form by Sunday, 27th October 2024.
