While visiting Shanghai for the CEE international education fairs, International Office staff Prof. Ronan Reilly, Helen Kirrane and Claire Doran were delighted to meet with seven Maynooth University students currently studying abroad in Shanghai. As part of the BA Arts (Chinese Studies) programme, the students are spending their third year at our partner universities, East China Normal University and Shanghai University, where they are taking intensive classes in the Chinese language. The students have settled in well at their host universities and have already made great progress learning the language. The IO looks forward to hearing more about the students' time abroad and to sending more students to China next year.
