As composer, performer, festival director, and teacher, classical guitarist Marco Ramelli enjoys a wide-ranging career. Currently Lecturer in Guitar Performance at TU Dublin Conservatoire, he trained at conservatories in Milan and Brescia before gaining masters and doctoral degrees in performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the University of St Andrews. He is in demand as a teacher and has presented masterclasses in Italy, Ireland, Spain, the United Kingdom, Greece, China and USA. Marco Ramelli's many recordings include two solo albums, and he has commissioned and performed more than fifty new solo and chamber music works for guitar.
