    Prof. Fiona M. Palmer is giving a paper related to her project on the inter-war conducting profession at the jointly-hosted 55th Annual Conference of the Royal Musical Association which is taking place at the Royal Northern College of Music and the University of Manchester, 11–13 September 2019. Fiona’s paper examines the ‘Collective Podium Power’ among conductors in Britain during and after World War 1.
