Digital technologies supporting climate action and wildfire response

Wednesday, October 26, 2022 - 10:00 to 16:00
Iontas Foyer

Our research teams based across the Irish Climate Analysis and Research Units (ICARUS) and National Centre for Geocomputation (NCG) and the Hamilton Institute will bring attendees through a suite of sophisticated technologies including digital platforms, drones and sensors currently employed on two Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) projects Terrain-AI and Co-Pilot AI.

Attendees will be brought through the technologies and given an opportunity to view sensor and research outputs on our live data platforms that are designed to monitor climate variables across a range of terrains (e.g. grass, crop, peat, forest, urban) and to support better decision making and situational awareness for wildfire events.

All welcome.
