SAR Ireland webinar on Gender and Academic Freedom
On March 8th, to mark International Women's Day, SAR Ireland, in collaboration with Centre for Resistance Studies, Trinity College Dublin and the Irish Centre for Human Rights, NUI Galway, will host a webinar on Gender and Academic Freedom. There will be three key note speakers; Andrea Pető, Professor in the Department of Gender Studies at Central European University, Vienna, Austria and a Doctor of Science of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Elżbieta Korolczuk, sociologist, working at Södertörn University in Stockholm and American Studies Center, Warsaw University Seda Altuğ, a lecturer at the Atatürk Institute for Modern Turkish History at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul.
