Dr Fergus Ryan of Maynooth University’s Department of Law appeared on Newstalk FM’s Global Village on Saturday, 4 June 2016 discussing recent developments in child law. Speaking with presenter Dil Wickremasinghe, Fergus highlighted the main features of the Children and Family Relationships Act 2015 and, in particular, the implications of the Act for parenting, guardianship and custody. He appeared alongside Karen Kiernan, CEO of One Family, and Greg Straton, CEO of Treoir. Fergus is a regular friend of the show and has frequently spoken on family law topics.
