Astrophysics Course Guide

The course MH204 - Physics with Astrophysics has the same structure as other courses provided by the Faculty of Science at Maynooth University. The table gives an outline of the course structure over the 4 years. If you pass your examinations at the end of 4th year, you will obtain a Single-Honours B.Sc. Degree in Physics with Astrophysics.

Student Life at Maynooth

Newly-built student on-campus accommodation and recreational facilities provide apartments, ensuite bedrooms and internet access. The Accommodations office also provides a service whereby it will assist students in gaining accommodation in the Maynooth area.

Maynooth is essentially a university town, and as a result the student identity in the community is strong. Students from all over the country who have studied here remember their time at Maynooth as a very positive one, and many continue to live here after they graduate.

With rail links, Dublin bus services, Bus Eireann services, daily coach services to Cavan, Mullingar, Drogheda, Dundrum, Carlow and Birr, and weekend coach services around the country, Maynooth University is extremely accessible.
