The Academic Advisory Office offers a convenient first point of contact for students who wish to seek advice or assistance with their general experience of University life. The service provides an ombudsman-like role for students who may be encountering difficulties in their programme of study.

Exam Results Information Centre (ERIC)

The Exam Results Information Centre will be available from Friday 28 June until 1pm on Friday 2 August for all students looking for information or advice following the release of results. Click on the Exam Results Information Centre (ERIC) header below for more information.

The quickest and recommended way of contacting us is by sending us an email (advisory.office@mu.ie).
Please note that there are currently no drop-in appointments available. Appointments are currently being offered via phone or MS Teams call.
If you prefer, you may fill out a query form instead: Academic Advisory Query Form, Exam Results Query Form. The Exame Results Query Form will be available from the 1st of September to the 15th of September. You will need to sign in with your MU details.

Exam Results Information Centre (ERIC)

The Exam Results Information Centre will be available from Friday 28 June until 1pm on Friday 2 August for all students looking for information or advice following the release of results.

During this time, staff will be available to answer queries, explain how the results have been combined and offer advice for how best to progress within your degree.

Please note that specific queries on the marking or compilation of results in an individual module should be addressed to the relevant lecturer/department.

You may email your query to examresultsinfo@mu.ie (please use your MU email address and make sure to include your student number in the message). Alternatively, you may submit your query via the Exam Results Query form. If you want to schedule a Teams meeting or phone call please include the times you are available and we can schedule an appointment. Please be patient as it can take two to three working days to reply to all emails during what is usually a very busy time.
