About
Eosinophilic Oesophagitis (EoE) is a chronic allergic disease of the oesophagus accompanied by oesophageal inflammation, trouble eating, food impaction, and an overall poor quality of life.
Gary is a PhD student in the Allergy Inflammation and Remodelling Research lab and a Kathleen Lonsdale Institute for Human Health Research scholarship awardee. Gary’s research is concerned with investigating the microRNA mediated transcriptional regulation of HIF-1α in Eosinophilic Oesophagitis. In addition, Gary is investigating the role of novel transcriptional regulators and their therapeutic potential in Eosinophilic Oesophagitis
