Anechoic Chamber
Purpose of equipment: The Anechoic Chamber will facilitate experiments and measurements for antennas, EMC, mmWave circuits and propagation characterisation, and anything requiring RF isolation. It’s physical dimensions are 10x6x6 metres, making it the largest chamber in Ireland
Technical information/equipment spec: The Anechoic chamber is a shielded and anechoic chamber, provided by Global EMC, that is certified from 800 MHz to 86 GHz, optimised for frequencies in the range 1.5 GHz to 40 GHz.

Purpose of the equipment: The Maturo Controller is used to control the Antenna mas and Turntable in the Anechoic Chamber. The equipment is used in conjunction with the Anechoic Chamber to make measurements for Antennas, EMC test and measurement and other areas of Research and Development activities of the Dept. of Electronic Engineering , Maynooth University.
Technical information/equipment spec: The Maturo Controller is used to control the Antenna mast and turntable in the anechoic chamber. It can be used to control Turntable, antenna mast and 2 additional equipment as required.

Terahertz Frequency VNA Measurement Facility
Purpose of the equipment: VNA based facility to measure phase and amplitude between 500 and 110 GHz using frequency multiplier units. Precise optical component testing possible with XYZ scanning facility.
Technical information/equipment spec: High frequency multiplier Heads used with Rhode and Schwarz ZVA24 and scanning translation stages.
