Dr Ferri Appointed as Affiliated Researcher of the Dirpolis Institute

Dr Delia Ferri has recently been appointed as an affiliated researcher of the Dirpolis Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (Pisa, Italy) within the research cluster on social policy and rights of persons with disabilities.

 
Further to her recent appointment, Dr Ferri has acted as member of the Scientific Committee of the High Level Course “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Autonomy”, directed by Dr Elena Vivaldi. The course aims to provide legal practitioners, NGOs, technical personnel, and administrators with a sound knowledge of the rights of persons with disabilities and with the necessary legal skills to address their needs, in view of enhancing independent living and autonomy. Dr Ferri is involved in the course within the wider context of her international commitments and community engagement activities.
 
Dr Ferri is a lecturer at Maynooth University Department of Law, where she lectures in EU Law and in International and European Disability Law and Policy.
