On 3 December 2015, International Day of Persons with Disability 2015, Dr Delia Ferri took part in a conference organised by the University of Trieste.
Dr Ferri was one of the invited key note speakers for the conference and her speech focused on accessibility and reasonable accommodation. Other speakers and participants included academics from various disciplines, as well as representatives of local and regional authorities, public administrators, representatives of the Italian National Observatory on the Condition of Persons with Disabilities, and representatives of civil society and disability organisations.
Dr Ferri’s area of expertise is Disability Law. She is currently a lecturer at Maynooth University Department of Law, where she lectures in EU Law and in International and European Disability Law and Policy.
