It is a pleasure to bring you the second number of the Retired Staff Association Newsletter, Retired staff Association Spring 2021 Newsletter with an expanded number of articles. We are grateful to all our contributors, to those who are our own members, but especially to our ‘guest’ writers. In particular, we mention Joe Larragy, for introducing us to the Maynooth Green Campus initiative, and to Jacinta Prunty, for sharing with us some of her experience in South Sudan. We also warmly welcome what we think is the first account of the Maynooth Archive of Memoirs, written by Mary Weld and Rose Malone. The Archive is an important repository of the memories of many who worked in Maynooth over the years.
