Business - Entrepreneurship

Why study Business - Entrepreneurship

99% of all businesses in Ireland are small, medium and micro enterprises (often called SME’s). The same is true for Europe with over 5 million businesses contributing the majority of all the economic activity in the EU. Setting up your own business and working for yourself to accomplish your personal goals and aspirations is an increasingly realistic ambition for today’s students. Entrepreneurs are the new patriots whose ideas are powering Ireland’s economic recovery.

At Maynooth University we have a dedicated Centre for Entrepreneurship, EDEN. We are actively training and coaching our students to be more creative, more imaginative and more entrepreneurial – we’re doing this by running courses in creativity, brainstorming, visualisation, sketching; story-telling and creative writing (as well as the conventional courses in Business).
