Be September Ready: Preparing for 2nd Year (15-17 April)

As we have almost reached the end of your first academic year here in Maynooth University, the Programme Advisory Office, in partnership with the My Maynooth Orientation Programme, will host a number of online information sessions that will help you prepare for the 2nd year of your study.

The talks have been designed to get you thinking about your second-year choices and to get you started on the next stage of your academic journey with us here in Maynooth University.  By attending these talks now, you will have lots of time to research your options over the coming months before you make your second-year programme choices in September.

The sessions will be held this week on Tuesday, 15th, Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th April. The schedule (including registration links) is available below:

Each session will last for approx. 45 minutes with an opportunity for you to ask questions at the end of each session.  We have targeted each session to a specific topic with some of the talks repeated but you can choose to attend whichever session suits your course.  Registration is necessary to attend the sessions, and you can register for the sessions by clicking on the relevant sessions above or by visiting the Be September Webpage.

The presentations will also be made available on the Programme Advisory Webpage in our ‘First Years: #BeSeptemberReady Resources for Your Second Year’ Section and if you have any questions in relation to these talks, you can contact the Programme Advisory Office at: [email protected]

We hope these sessions will help you decide which pathway to pursue and help you with your decisions and understand the options available to you.

Kind regards,

The Programme Advisory Team
