Launchpad is the Maynooth University Access Programme (MAP) orientation designed to support and ease the transition to third level for students who are coming to Maynooth University through entry routes supported by MAP (the Higher Education Access Route (HEAR), the Disability Access Route to Education (DARE), mature entry, QQI entry, Turn to Teaching Programme (TTT), or new students with a disability).
Incoming students supported by MAP can get to know fellow first years, ask questions and find out advice from existing student ambassadors on how to navigate the University before starting a new course at Maynooth.
Launchpad for all HEAR students and selected DARE students will be residential and will take place from 8-10 September 2018 on the Maynooth Campus. All other students are invited to attend Launchpad in a non-residential capacity, with specific sessions on 8 September and subject panels by academics on 10 September.
