The DEW partners have launched the Testing & Validation of the DEW Toolbox and joined the 4th Transnational Project Meeting

On May 23rd, the Consortium took part in the 4th Transnational Project Meeting of the DEW project, held in Pescara (IT) and hosted by the Italian partner IDP European Consultants. The meeting represented a chance to discuss the results achieved so far and to formalise the next steps to be taken.

DEW - Digital Entrepreneurship for Women - is an Erasmus+ project co-financed by the European Commission which gathers seven organisations from five countries (BE, ES, FR, IR, IT). The Consortium has just launched the testing & validation of the DEW Training Toolbox that embeds training content together with accompanying resources such as operational cases, guidelines, good practices and glossary for enhanced contribution to the field of female entrepreneurship.

The Toolbox is available in 4 languages at this https://www.dewproject.eu/training.php?lang=EN

By applying a gender lens to the ENTRECOMP Framework of the European Commission the DEW partners have spotted relevant learning outcomes and topics to increase female entrepreneurs’ digital competencies. Based on the results of their primary and secondary research, partners have developed training solutions to support female entrepreneurs in facing the current challenges of the market through upskilling pathways.

In the following months, partners will meet at least 100 learners from the target group across Europe to test the training material embedded in the DEW OER Platform and collect feedback about usability, relevance to their needs and delivery means. Following the testing and validation process the content will be finetuned to integrate participants inputs.

The DEW OER Platform is an accessible resource and greatly enhances opportunities for new and existing female entrepreneurs but also enhances the suite of supports available to the project partners, and by extension, other enterprise support and VET providers locally, nationally and on the European stage.
