The IIHSA Greek Study Tour is an annual tour organised by the Irish Institute of Hellenic Studies at Athens, in conjunction with Trinity College, Dublin. The tour takes place in August/September of each year, and places are available annually to eight students from Maynooth University. Participants are introduced to Greek culture and cuisine and, beginning in Athens, are given expert guided tours of the Agora, the Akropolis, Theatre of Dionysos, Pnyx, Library and Arch of Hadrian. Other ancient sites visited include Mycenae; Corinth; Delphi (site and museum); Olympia (site and museum), Sparta and many more.
