Modes of Classical Reception in the 19th and 20th Centuries - this September the Department of Ancient Classics is delighted to host this colloquium to mark the retirement of our friend and colleague, Professor David Scourfield. The two-day event will present a collection of papers on the modern reception of the classical world including keynote from Professor Scourfield to launch proceedings on Friday, 8th September.
