Mark Maguire, Head of the Maynooth University Department of Anthropology delivered the keynote address at the international conference on The Everyday Life of (In)Security - Ethnographic Perspectives.
The conference was held in November 2015 in the University of Graz, Austria, and attracted speakers from around Europe. Dr Maguire spoke about his research on the critical anthropology of security, specifically on counter-terrorism in Europe today. His research on this topic is shown in Maguire, M., Frois, C. and N.
