The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is pleased to announce the 2025-26 Calls for Applications for the Teaching and Learning (T&L) Fellowships and the SPARK Initiative.
The theme for the 2025-26 calls is: “Empowering Teaching and Learning Practice”.
The T&L Fellowships are a key part of Maynooth University’s ongoing commitment to supporting teaching enhancement and fostering scholarship of teaching and learning. This year, six Teaching and Learning Fellowships of €5,000 each will be awarded.
The SPARK Initiative aims to support individual staff in implementing small-scale teaching and learning projects in the spirit of ‘Change one thing’. The idea is to consider an aspect of teaching and learning to enhance or initiate and begin with a starter project that creates opportunity to build on the initiative beyond the funding timeframe. Ten SPARK grants of €1,000 will be awarded to individuals / teams.
