About

Dr. Mahwish Kundi completed her PhD in Computer Science at the University of Leicester, UK, where her research focused on enhancing software requirements using FrameNet frames, a lexical database framework. She is highly motivated to advance her research in improving the software requirements process, aiming to develop more efficient, accurate, and scalable methods for requirements engineering, particularly for AI-driven systems. Her work centres on refining frameworks and tools to support consistent, correct, and comprehensive software requirements. She is collaborating with the Principles of Programming Research Group at Maynooth University to develop the RE4AI framework, which addresses the unique challenges in requirements engineering for AI-based applications.
Dr. Kundi has a strong record of publishing her findings in reputable conferences and journals in areas such as software engineering, machine learning, and security requirements engineering, and has presented her work at both national and international conferences.
With over 10 years of experience in teaching and research across multiple academic institutions, Dr. Kundi has taught a variety of computer science courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has also been actively involved in supervising postgraduate research students. Her main teaching area is software engineering.
