Arqus Teaching Innovation Fund

With up to €3000, the fund encourages the development of education projects that enhance student learning experiences and address societal challenges. The fund is open to teachers and students from at least 2 Arqus universities.

Arqus Teaching Innovation Fund

Deadline: 15 May 2025

The Arqus Alliance is pleased to announce the launch of the Arqus Teaching Innovation Fund, open to all students, academic and administrative staff.
This initiative supports innovative projects in teaching and learning across Arqus member institutions, fostering international collaboration, and promoting excellence in education.
With up to €3000, the fund encourages the development of education projects that enhance student learning experiences and address societal challenges.

UMinho Staff Week 2025: University innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems

Deadline: 18 April 2025

The University of Minho invites Arqus researchers, teachers and administrative staff to their “University Innovation and Entrepreneurial Ecosystems” Staff Week.
It will take place in Guimarães (Portugal) from 16 to 20 June 2025.
Master classes, seminars, on-site visits and training will cover the different dimensions of an innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem using the University of Minho and its partners as the case study.
The programme will be guided by experienced trainers and coaches. Teamwork activities will aim at the definition of the best practices in the field and the production of a strategic plan for more innovative and entrepreneurial European Universities.
The programme package costs 240 € and includes:
- Participating in all activities
- Transportation during the days of the programme
- Training material
- Lunches
- Social event
- Assistance throughout the week

European Studies Summer School in Bad Hersfeld, Germany

Deadline: 25 April 2025

The Arqus Joint Master’s Programme in European Studies invites students to their summer school on 3-7 July 2025, in Bad Hersfeld (Germany).
It is an excellent opportunity to further develop methodological and conceptual skills in the field of European Studies.
The programme includes methodological and Master’s thesis workshops and special sessions with alumni.
A trip is planned to “Point Alpha”, a former US Army observation post now turned into a museum, which offers a starting point to reflect on the challenges of European transformations, past and present, in local, regional and global contexts.
Due to the limited number of places available, students will be selected based on short applications.

Master’s Programme in International Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence 2025/2027 – 2nd call

Deadline: 25 April 2025

The second call is now open!
This programme offers students a unique opportunity to gain advanced skills and international expertise in the critical and rapidly growing fields of cybersecurity and cyberintelligence.
Over the course of two years, students will experience a unique mobility scheme, studying at a different partner university each semester.
* Please note that non-EU and non-EEA applicants cannot participate in this selection process.

Arqus Green Mobility Days Award

Deadline: 30 April 2025

The Arqus Alliance encourages students, academic and administrative staff of its partner universities to apply to the Arqus Green Mobility Days Award with their sustainability projects and good practices.
The Arqus Green Mobility Days initiative aims to foster and look for new ways to implement green mobility.
Its main aim is to identify good practices in the field of sustainability that can spark innovative approaches to green mobility within the Alliance.
The objective of this call is to select the most remarkable project suggested or carried out by a member of an Arqus university (as an individual or on behalf of an organisation).

Summer School in Skin tissue engineering at the University of Granada

Deadline: 11 May 2025

The University of Granada invites Arqus PhD students to UGRSKINTECH, the 1st Training School in Skin Tissue Engineering.
Training takes place 11-13 June 2025 in Granada (Spain).
The UGRSKINTECH Summer School offers hands-on training experience in Histology, Tissue Engineering, and Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs).
his in-person programme offers an interdisciplinary and international learning environment, combining:
Theoretical lectures by leading experts
Hands-on workshops on advanced skin tissue models
Brainstorming sessions & translational challenges
A visit to a GMP facility & regulatory insights

Tell Your Mobility Story (TYMS) is a contest inviting exchange students to create a short video — up to 90 seconds — showcasing your unique journey, from pre-departure plans to classroom adventures and lifelong friendships.
