All non-EEA students are required to provide evidence that they have purchased private medical insurance sourced in Ireland and that they maintained private medical insurance for the previous registration period at your second and subsequent Immigration registration.

Information to follow
Letters for immigration renewal - you can download a letter from the StudentWeb (students on a full-degree programme - e.g. undergraduate degree or postgraduate degree programme only). If you require a letter stating your Irish study address you can ask the Records Office to include it in the letter.
If you require a letter to apply for a 1G visa please complete this form and the letter will be emailed to you.
If you require proof of payment of fees please contact the Fees & Grants Office or check you Fee Account for a receipt.

All medical issues are handled by the MU Student Health Service. You will find specific information for international students on this page.
Appointments with the Student Health Service take place Monday to Friday during university office hours.
Outside of this period, KDOC can provide emergency GP assistance from 5.30pm until 8.00am on weekdays and 24-hour service at weekends and bank holidays.
Telephone 045848701 to book an appointment at one of their two locations: Shackleton Road, Celbridge, or Vista Primary Care Campus, Naas.
There will be a fee associated with this service for students without an European health insurance card. For students with a EHIC it is a free service.
In the event of an emergency, please phone emergency services at 911 or 112.
Students may also attend the emergency department directly if they are acutely unwell.
