The International Office and Maynooth Students’ Union recently hosted the first celebration of International Cultures and Identities on Maynooth Campus.
Festivities kicked off with a traditional Chinese New Year Lion dance outside of the MSU building. Other events included traditional henna tattoos, the sale of African jewellery and crafts and Ukrainian traditional flower headband making.
The MSU also hosted an intersectionality workshop for staff and students.
An intercultural quiz night, interspersed with performances from international students from India and Ecuador, concluded the festivities.
