Maynooth University International Office

Marcela Tintinago, based in Columbia, is MU’s new Regional Officer for LATAM. Marcela holds a degree in Education and brings six years of experience working in international education to the role. Her career began with work in high schools and International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes in Colombia, followed by international education roles at universities in Australia and the UK. She has worked in teaching, coordination, operations, and regional representation.

As the Regional Officer for LATAM, Marcela will support Maynooth University on the ground across territories such as Columbia, Mexico, Brazil and across the entire LATAM region, which includes approximately 33 countries, focusing on building partnerships, attracting students and expanding Maynooth University’s presence in the region.
She is passionate about education and committed to connecting students with meaningful learning experiences in Ireland.
