Digitisation in the Academy and beyond
This seminar will highlight and discuss work being done in a number of libraries in Ireland and beyond. It will explore the digitisation programmes currently in place, how material is selected, digitised and how this digitised material is being made available to staff, students and the general public. As well as looking at types of work currently underway we will discuss the challenges and benefits of doing this work.
