To celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge 2025 taking place from 1st – 17th March this year, the Library will be hosting an in-person event titled Ceol agus Tae which takes place on Wednesday 12 March from 10:30-11:30am in the Library foyer. There will be some traditional Irish music as well as tea, coffee and refreshments.
We welcome both students and staff to join us on the 12th, whether you are a fluent Irish speaker or have no Gaeilge at all – Irish is for everyone!
In addition, we will also be running our annual social media campaign for SnG25 with “Focal agus Frása an Lae” where we share some of our favourite Irish words and phrases as well as our “Motaí” or recommendations for books, podcasts, music and TV series using and promoting the Irish language.
