Maynooth University Library launches open access revised edition of Silence Would be Treason: Last Writings of Ken Saro-Wiwa
On Tuesday, 14 November, Sister Majella McCarron (OLA) will launch the open access revised edition of Silence Would be Treason: Last Writings of Ken Saro-Wiwa at 16:00 in the John Paul Il Library, Maynooth University. The book is edited by Íde Corley, Helen Fallon & Laurence Cox and published by Daraja Press.

In November 2011, Sister Majella McCarron (OLA) donated to Maynooth University, the death row correspondence (smuggled out of military detention in breadbaskets), she received from Nigerian writer and activist. This new online book contains the letters, poems by Saro-Wiwa, images from the collection and contextual essays by the three editors.
