Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, we're delighted to screen this Stanley Kubrick classic (named best Irish film of all time by the Irish Times in 2020) at the Festival.
This story of an 18th-century rakish Irishman (Ryan O'Neal), features many scenes filmed in Ireland, including the spectacular Carton Estate, only minutes away from the University.
Join us for a wonderful opportunity to experience this masterly movie right here at MU. In keeping with the custom at Maynooth Film for All events, Dr Denis Condon will lead a post-screening discussion about the movie.
Screentime - 3:05 hours. There will also be a short interval.
Maynooth Film for All is a partnership with Kildare County Council Library & Arts Service and the Departments of Media Studies and English at Maynooth University.
