Maynooth University golfers Ryan Griffin and Kate Lanigan will be in action on the International Team against the USA in the Arnold Palmer Cup collegiate golf competition which gets underway in Lahinch, Co Clare on Friday.

Sport Ireland Research Funding Scheme Award for Dr Liam Sweeney
Dr Liam Sweeney, alongside Dr Áine MacNamara from Dublin City University and Niall O’Regan from the Football Association of Ireland, have been awarded funding under the Sport Ireland Research Funding Scheme Allocation to pursue a research project titled, ‘What role does biological maturation play in the development experiences of female players on the FAI’s national and international pathway?’. The grant will see a total funding award of €13,514 for several research projects spanning between 2024-2025
