This INTEL funded project is focused around evaluating the information content from multi-thematic data, captured onboard drones using various imaging sensors. The outputs are expected to help direct further research into next generation automated monitoring of high-value crops such as Apple Orchards using drone technology. Also involved are Adrian Magee (NCG), Daire Walsh (NCG), Dr Conor Cahalane (NCG), Sean Mannion (Air Survey) and Louis Gallagher ( Department of Computer Science, Maynooth University)
