New Programmes Commencing in September 2015

LLM (International Justice)
The LLM (International Justice) masters is a newly approved masters of law degree which the Department is excited to offer! Commencing in September 2015, it will be offered to law graduates and graduates of cognate disciplines (e.g. international relations, social studies, sociology, politics, and other inter-disciplinary degrees which have a focus on the international community order). No prior knowledge of the common law system is required for this programme. The programme will be very attractive to law graduates who wish to specialise in the field of international law and to non-law graduates who may be interested in undertaking a vocational law programme in the future. It will also prepare students for policy and advocacy work in national, regional, and international organisations with a social and economic justice mandate. Come along to the event on 3 March to find out more!

LLM (International Business Law)
The LLM (International Business Law) is a very popular option which has been running for a number of years. It is run jointly with the Catholic University of Lyon; students spend for semester in Lyon and the second semester in Maynooth. In September 2015, we will offer a new track alongside the existing dual-semester track: students will spend both semesters studying international business law modules at Maynooth University. Come along to the event on 3 March to find out more!

Postgraduate Diploma in Public Procurement Law

This course will be led by expert academic and professionals within the field of public procurement law and will provide students with a thorough knowledge of public procurement laws, the tendering process and the judicial review process.
