Dr Delia Ferri recently presented a Thematic Report at a legal seminar organised by the European network of legal experts in gender equality and non-discrimination. The network was established by the European Commission and is jointly managed by Human European Consultancy, the Migration Policy Group, and Utrecht University.
The seminar took place in Brussels on 24 November 2015. The thematic report which Delia presented was entitled ‘Reasonable Accommodation for Disabled People in Employment Contexts’ and was co-authored by Delia with Professor Anna Lawson (University of Leeds).
The seminar brought together the network experts, as well as national governmental representatives from the countries covered by the network, representatives of national specialised equality bodies and of the European Commission, representatives of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights and the European Institute for Gender Equality, as well as other relevant stakeholders such as civil society organisations and social partners.
Dr Ferri is a lecturer at Maynooth University Department of Law, where she lectures in EU Law and in International and European Disability Law and Policy.
