French Dictionaries event and Russell Library exhibition
On Friday 3 March, French Studies, School of Languages Literatures and Cultures Maynooth, in association with the cultural service of the French Embassy, is hosting a talk in the Callan Building, North Campus, 11:00 to 13:00. The speakers are eminent linguist Bernard Cerquiglini, and Dr. Vilmos Bárdosi (ELTE Budapest) and their presentation is entitled ‘Le français, une langue de dictionnaires’. All are welcome.

In conjunction with this event the Russell Library is holding an exhibition of rare French dictionaries, including the Encyclopédie of Diderot and D’Alembert.
The Russell exhibition runs from 1-30 March.
