You are invited to attend the launch of a report detailing the findings and recommendations of a DAFM funded research project titled “HER-SELF: Highlighting pathways to Empower Rural women to have Sustainable and Equitable Livelihoods in Farming” Minister Noel Grealish (Minister of State for Agriculture) will formally launch this report prepared by researchers at Maynooth University, Munster Technological University and Teagasc. HER-SELF has established a baseline position on women in farming and the agriculture sector in Ireland and provides evidence for future policy interventions to enhance the role of women in the sector.
