Last week, the School of Law and Criminology had the privilege of welcoming Ms. Marcella Higgins, Registrar of The Honourable Society of King’s Inns, for an engaging and informative session. Hosted by Dr. Elaine Burroughs, External Relations Manager at the School, the event provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about the entrance process for the prestigious King’s Inns programme.
During her presentation, Ms. Higgins shared key insights into the application procedure and life as a student at King’s Inns, offering practical guidance to those considering a career as a barrister. She also highlighted how the King’s Inns programme serves as a crucial stepping stone for aspiring barristers, providing the essential training and qualifications needed to enter the legal profession. The session concluded with a Q&A, where students had the chance to clarify their queries and receive expert advice.
We sincerely appreciate Ms. Higgins for taking the time to support our students on their legal career journey. Students interested in exploring the King’s Inns further are encouraged to attend the in-person Open Day on 12 April 2025, where they can meet faculty, tour the facilities, and gain deeper insights into the programme.
