Kevin Hjortshøj O’Rourke – ‘Brexit in Historical Perspective’

Kevin O’Rourke is Professor of Economics at New York University in Dubai, and formerly Chichele Professor of Economic History at the University of Oxford. Author of many books and papers on economic history and trade, his most recent book is A Short History of Brexit (Penguin), described by Fintan O’Toole as “crisp, clear and quietly devastating”. This lecture, and questions and answers, will be hosted by Professor John O’Brennan, Jean Monnet Chair in European Integration, Maynooth University.
