The MU SexGen network is delighted to announce its inaugural research symposium between 12-4-15pm on Tuesday 30th April 2019: ‘Faces of Change: Researching Sexuality and Gender at Maynooth University’.
Papers and panel discussions will address research by MU faculty, students and researchers on sexualities and gender. All University faculty, researchers, students and affiliated scholars are very welcome to attend. This will be a great opportunity to hear about the great, interdisciplinary research on sexuality and gender being developed across the University and to meet some like-minded colleagues.

12.30pm: opening remarks by Professor Kath Browne and welcome by Professor Thomas O’Connor, Director of the Maynooth University Arts and Humanities Institute
12.45pm: panel of papers on the theme of bodies
1.45-2pm: tea/coffee break
2-3pm: panel of papers on the theme of identities and communities
3-4pm: panel discussion on the theme of distruptions
4pm: closing remarks by Professor Linda Connolly, Director of the Maynooth University Social Sciences Institute
