Research Together: Building relationships and partnering on health focused funding applications

As part of Maynooth University (MU) research week and the PPI Ignite Networks National Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) festival, the Research Development Office (RDO) and MU PPI Forum, with support from Health Research Charities Ireland (HRCI) are delighted to invite HRCI charity members, other civil society organisations (CSO), MU and external researchers , PPI Ignite network members, PPI contributors and the public to this in person event.

Outline:

Session 1: Opportunity for health charities/CSOs to communicate their research needs to the MU research community and beyond, with presentations also outlining what a good research partnership and meaningful PPI in research is, from their perspective.
Session 2: Hearing how to initiate, build relationships and partner on funded research projects from MU Researcher- Charity partnerships in action.
Session 3: Information on partnering opportunities (The Wheel, Access Europe, Emma Murtagh) and upcoming EU funding opportunities in the health space (Horizon Europe NCP, Dr Martha Cahill), that researchers and health charities/CSOs can work towards together.
