SciVal is a tool from Elsevier (who also produce Science Direct & Scopus) which was developed to help institutions make more informed decisions to drive research outcomes. Its ready-to-use tools analyze the world of research, and help to establish, execute and evaluate optimized strategies for the research organization. SciVal offers quick, easy access to the research performance of 4,600 research institutions and 220 countries worldwide

To access SciVal in Maynooth simply login via the link on the Libraries A-z of Databases. You'll also need to register with the Scopus Database and then use the same Login for SciVal.
SciVal is provided to the University by a collaboration between the Library, Research Development Office, Graduate Studies and the International Office.
