The online part of this event will showcase the research in climate action and sustainability conducted at Maynooth University.
This will involve a series of 10-minute presentations followed by panel discussions and Q&A sessions and is open to all MU staff and students and members of the public. It will provide networking opportunities with several external partners, including An Taisce, Kildare County Council (Climate Action Office), Climate Response Ireland and a number of local community groups.
One of the ambitions for the forum is to explore potential collaborative opportunities for MU researchers and students with two important projects, centred around Maynooth, namely the Legacy4Life Low Carbon Plan (An Taisce) and Maynooth Decarbonising Zone (Kildare County Council). We will also discuss how best to embed these themes and actions into our teaching and curriculum through our Project and Research Live initiatives.
