October 2024 Conferring Ceremonies
Our October 2024 Conferring Ceremonies will take place on Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st of October 2024. The schedule is published in the drop down menu below.
All eligible graduates will receive an email with details of their ceremony by Thursday 26th September 2024. All emails will be sent to your MU student email account.
Please read the Information Booklet for all details on your conferring day.
Each ceremony will last approximately one hour. Graduand registration for each ceremony will open:
11:00 Ceremonies – from 10:00 to 10:30
14:00 Ceremonies – from 13:00 to 13:30
Late arrivals are not guaranteed a place in the graduate line-up.
Please note that the following qualifications are divided by SUBJECT below:
- Master of Science is divided by subject
- Master of Arts is divided by subject
- All PhD’s are divided by subject
Outstanding Fees for Graduation
Please note that if you have an outstanding balance on your student account, you cannot graduate.
Late payment of fees may also result in your name being omitted from the conferring booklet due to printing time constraints.
In order to attend the October 2024 ceremonies, all remaining fees on your student account must be cleared by Wednesday, 2nd October 2024.
(Depending on when the account is cleared, you may have to wait until the next scheduled conferring ceremonies before receiving your parchment)
