Higher Diploma in Education Transcripts Pre 1990
Under the Data Protection Acts 1998 and 2018 we cannot discuss a student's results with anyone other than the student themselves.
To find out your rank in class you can email records.office@mu.ie with your name, student number and we will email this information to you. In your request, please specify if you require your rank in class for:
- Each year of your registration in Maynooth University or just your final year
- Your overall Qualification and each Subject contained therein
To obtain information on modules you attended at Maynooth University, you should contact our office quoting your student number and course attended.

The Student Records and Registration Office provides letters of certification for both current and previous students including:

- Degree Letter
- Diploma Letter
- Letter of previous registration

To obtain any of the other letters stated:
- Email records.applications@mu.ie with your full name, student number and/or date of birth and current address and we will post the letter to you
- Telephone 01 708 3813, quote your full name, student number and/or date of birth and we will post the letter to you

The Student Records and Registration Office can validate and stamp a number of forms including, but not restricted to:
- Back to Education Allowance (BTEA)
- HSE Drugs payment scheme
- HSE Medical card
- Children's Allowance
- Job seekers
- Invalidity pension
- J-1 Visa applications
If you require a form to be stamped, please email this form (all pages) to records.office@mu.ie. We will stamp and sign the form and email same back to you. Alternatively, you can book an appointment to call to our office in person by using our BOOKING PAGE. Please ensure to have your student card with you on the day of the appointment. Forms cannot be processed and returned to any person other than the registered student.
Important notes:
- Forms can only be stamped for one academic year at a time and for currently registered students only
- For the majority of undergraduates who are registered from September to May, it is not possible to stamp any forms during the summer months
