The Department of Psychology at Maynooth University is excited to announce the formalization of a research collaboration with University of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS), Poland.
Dr. Yvonne Barnes-Holmes will act as external supervisor to Krystyna Pomorska, associate lecturer at the SWPS, whose research involves studying the role of perspective taking in the development of broader language skills in both normally developing and autistic spectrum disorder children. Krystyna visited the department this May, and we are hopeful that she will return as a visiting scholar in the autumn.
This collaboration is indicative of the growing body of behavioural and functional psychology being conducted in several Polish universities. We are excited to see what this renewed focus will bring.
