Saturday, March 28th, heralds a new departure in modern foreign language (MFL) teacher education in Ireland! It will, for the first time, bring together both experienced and student MFL teachers for professional development led by teachers for teachers. Maynooth University Department of Education, in collaboration with the Post-Primary Languages Initiative, will welcome over 200 delegates from Ireland and the UK, to the Iontas building, for a conference on the use of Tablets and Apps in MFL Teaching and Learning. This is the first large-scale non language-specific event organised for post-primary language teachers in Ireland. It builds on an ongoing collaboration between Maynooth University Department of Education and the Post-Primary Languages Initiative. The exciting programme can be seen at bit.ly/Apps4MFLProgram
