Kieran Cleary who had an accident during the summer of 2018 and was hospitalised for a long period of time, was unable to attend his graduation in September 2018. He has now made significant progress on his road to recovery and to the delight of Kieran’s extended family, the Sociology Department, and the Chaplin’s Office, he graduated on Wednesday 30th at 12 noon. The ceremony was enlivened by a standing ovation to the successful students when President Philip Nolan requested a show of support for the graduates - the standing ovation was spontaneously led by Kieran’s parents.
