The Movement Learning Catalyst project brings together four important networks of social movement training and radical adult education: the Ulex Project (Catalunya), European Alternatives (Paris), the European Community Organising Network (Slovakia) and Maynooth University’s Departments of Adult & Community Education and Sociology.
Together we are working on developing a pan-European training approach focussing on making connections across different movements, social positionalities and geographies, including a year-long hybrid training course. This event discusses some of what we’ve learned so far with activists and popular educators in Ireland and internationally.
This hybrid (in-person /online) event brings together researchers from MU’s Sociology and Adult & Community Education departments with the three pan-European activist training / popular education networks.
